October last year sports giant Nike and Jun Takahashi, head designer and founder of Japanese cult design label Undercover, released their first Autumn/Winter running collection. Six months later – with the first collection being sold out – their forces are joined again, resulting in the Nike x Undercover Gyakusou Running Collection 2011.
Takahashi, who calls himself a ‘jogging addict’, goes around Tokyo with a small group of runners named Gyakusou (‘gyaku’ means reverse or the other way and ‘sou’ means running), defining their characterizing habit of running counter-clockwise.
